We moved the fridge for two reasons. The first being, well...I didn't measure the opening when I bought our "new" fridge to replace the evil, smelly, filthy thing they left. Um, oops! The second is that it was too restricting. You could barely open the oven door and it also blocked valuable counter space.
So we put in the shelving unit, and I love it!
We are replacing dated, chipped, stained formica counters with lovely butcher block!
We (and I use the term "we" very, very loosely!) tore down one bank of cabinets, and.....you'll have to stay tuned for the rest very soon!

Oh, I love the counters!!! I want to do butcher block in our kitchen. We were going to do it last summer, but then we decided an adoption was more important for us at this point. ;) Did you get yours at IKEA?
